It’s not a simple case of moving characters around and having them say certain lines, voice actors need to be used to record the dialogue, and everything needs to be coordinated to match up with the original game.
However, as you can see in the footage above, there’s a lot of scene setting and ‘acting’ to recreate for almost every part of the game. Any excuse to revisit the Mojave Wasteland is enough to get me to boot the game up again, because no other Fallout game has lived up to it. The effort that the people working on the project have gone to with this section of the game alone is incredible, and only shows that they’re completely capable of the full remake with time.Īs someone who played hundreds of hours of Fallout: New Vegas, I can’t wait to play Fallout 4: New Vegas. Shot for shot, this is not only a true remake, it’s a stunning recreation using mod tools in a completely different game.
